Stegman+Associates was part of a team responsible for creating bridging documents for a new suite-style residence hall at CCSU. The project provided six hundred and thirty-seven (637) beds and the work produced by the bridging documents team enabled the project to be developed using the Design/Build delivery method.

The new facility was seven (7) floors estimated at a total of approximately 220,000 gross square feet (GSF) and accommodated six hundred and twelve (612) students in one hundred fifty three (153) student suites, as well as twenty-four (24) resident assistants. Each student suite contained two double occupancy bedrooms, an ample living space, closets and compartmentalized bathroom arrangement. The ground floor of the facility housed resident director apartments, area for student life and support services and the offices of Residential Life.

Stegman+Associates developed the project program; alternate suite unit plans and conceptual floor plans; and detailed room data sheets for each program space. Responsibilities also extended to schematic design review of the design build team documents with lead architects SMMA.
